Aqua Cobalt with MicroMPX GPS SFN setup

 

Please note a MicroMPX SFN GPS license is required.

1. Connect GPS Module: Plug the USB cable from the GPS module into the USB port on the Cobalt unit.
2. Attach the SMA to BNC adapter to one end of the BNC cable.

1. Use the BNC cable to connect the 1 PPS and 10 MHz signals from the GPS module to the Cobalt unit.

 

Plug in GPS Dongle: 
Connect the USB GPS dongle to the MicroMPX encoder.

 

Enable MicroMPX

1. Power on both the Cobalt unit and the MicroMPX encoder.
2. On the Cobalt front panel, navigate to Network.

1. Open a web browser and enter the IP address shown on the Cobalt front panel.
2. Log into the Cobalt web interface.
3. Go to the MicroMPX section , enable the MicroMPX service and click Save.

 

 Enable GPS SFN (Single Frequency Network)

1. In the Cobalt web interface, go to the MicroMPX section
2. Turn ON the MicroMPX GPS SFN.
3. Click Save.
